Smashburger Tacos Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 6 tsp. Tone’s Taco Seasoning Blend
- 4 – 6 or 8 inch flour tortillas
- 4 slices American cheese
Sauce – copycat Big Mac sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tsp. yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. sweet pickle relish
- ¼ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp. white pepper
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef and taco seasoning. Divide beef into 4 – 4 oz. balls.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place one ball of seasoned ground beef in the center of the skillet and place a tortilla on top.
- Using a burger press, or a heavy pot or skillet, press the tortilla onto the beef, spreading the beef out as close to the edge of the tortilla as you can.
- Cook for 3 minutes then flip.
- Top with a slice of cheese and cook for 1 minute or until the cheese is melted.
- Fold over into a taco shape and drizzle with sauce and any other toppings you would like.
- Repeat the process with the remaining 3 beef patties.
Serving suggestions:
Shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, red onion
Tips
- If you use a 6-inch tortilla, the burger will cover most of the tortilla.
- If you use an 8-inch tortilla, you will have more room for toppings!
