Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 4-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Tone’s®️ Fried Chicken Seasoning Blend
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Cooking spray
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Pound each chicken breast to ½-inch thickness.
- Set up three shallow bowls.
- Place the flour in the first bowl.
- Whisk the egg and water in the second bowl.
- In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, seasoning and olive oil; mix until all the breadcrumbs are moistened.
- Working one by one, dip each piece of chicken in the flour and shake off the excess.
- Dip into the beaten egg and then press each piece into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Turn the piece over and press to make sure the whole piece has been coated.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet then repeat with remaining pieces of chicken.
- Lightly spray the top of each piece with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
