Ingredients

  • 4 4-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. Tone’s®️ Fried Chicken Seasoning Blend
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. Pound each chicken breast to ½-inch thickness.
  3. Set up three shallow bowls.
  4. Place the flour in the first bowl.
  5. Whisk the egg and water in the second bowl.
  6. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, seasoning and olive oil; mix until all the breadcrumbs are moistened.
  7. Working one by one, dip each piece of chicken in the flour and shake off the excess.
  8. Dip into the beaten egg and then press each piece into the breadcrumb mixture.
  9. Turn the piece over and press to make sure the whole piece has been coated.
  10. Place on the prepared baking sheet then repeat with remaining pieces of chicken.
  11. Lightly spray the top of each piece with cooking spray.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
