Decadent French Toast Souffle’ Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cup light cream
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 large croissants
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 10 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Directions
- Coarsely chop croissants in a food processor; distribute evenly over the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish or baking pan.
- Combine cream cheese, butter and 1/4 cup maple syrup in food processor; process until smooth.
- Spread over chopped croissants.
- Beat eggs, 1/2 cup maple syrup, and cream in a large bowl; pour over mixture.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Uncover casserole and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until slightly puffed and golden.
- Heat 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup maple syrup in a small sauce pan; pour over warm soufflé.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and pecans.
- Serve immediately.
