  1. Pat salmon dry with paper towel and place on a platter.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and stir in the seasoning.
  3. Rub the butter mixture onto both sides of the salmon.
  4. Heat a heavy bottomed or cast-iron skillet over high heat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the hot skillet then place the filets in the pan.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the bottom is blackened and lifts easily from the pan.
  7. Add the remaining butter to the pan and flip the salmon filets over.
  8. Cook an additional 3-5 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork, or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  9. Serve with lemon wedges.
