Blackened Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 – 6 oz. salmon filets, skin and bones removed
- ½ cup butter, divided
- 2 Tbsp. Tone’s®️ Blackened Seasoning Blend
- 1 lemon, cut into 8 wedges
Directions
- Pat salmon dry with paper towel and place on a platter.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and stir in the seasoning.
- Rub the butter mixture onto both sides of the salmon.
- Heat a heavy bottomed or cast-iron skillet over high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the hot skillet then place the filets in the pan.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the bottom is blackened and lifts easily from the pan.
- Add the remaining butter to the pan and flip the salmon filets over.
- Cook an additional 3-5 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork, or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
