Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 8 oz. ground beef
  • 8 oz. ground sausage
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Tone’s®️ Italian Blend Seasoning Blend
  • ⅓ cup shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. coarse salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs and milk until all the breadcrumbs are soaked.
  3. Allow to rest while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  4. To the breadcrumb mixture, add the beef, pork, onion, garlic, egg, seasoning blend, cheese, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix until well blended (gloved hands work best). Do not overwork the mixture.
  6. Using a 3 Tbsp. scoop, dish out meatballs onto the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 155°F.
  8. Drain any fat.
