Steak for All Seasons Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tsp pepper, black fine grind
- 1 tsp Fennel Seed
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 to 1-1/2 lb top sirloin steak, 1-inch thick
Directions
- Preheat oven to broil; set oven rack so that meat is 5 to 6 inches from heat.
- Combine oil, cumin, black pepper, fenneland garlic salt in a small bowl; mix well.
- Press mixture onto both sides of steak.
- Broil 15 to 20 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness; turning steak once.
Tips
To grill, place steak on grid over medium coals.
Grill 17 to 21 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness, turning once.
