Italian Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
- ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
- ⅔ cup milk
- 8 oz. ground beef
- 8 oz. ground sausage
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. Tone’s®️ Italian Blend Seasoning Blend
- ⅓ cup shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. coarse salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs and milk until all the breadcrumbs are soaked.
- Allow to rest while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
- To the breadcrumb mixture, add the beef, pork, onion, garlic, egg, seasoning blend, cheese, salt and pepper.
- Mix until well blended (gloved hands work best). Do not overwork the mixture.
- Using a 3 Tbsp. scoop, dish out meatballs onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 155°F.
- Drain any fat.
